These days, I make sure BusinessPMO continues to meet the needs of our clients and doing my part to keep the company connected to the community. This involves making sure everyone stays on task, keeping us in the good graces of auditors (love our government contracts!), representing the company leadership at networking events, and organizing our classes and events throughout the year.
Family, by far, is the most important thing in my life. I also love animals, the country and the oceans. When I'm not working, the country girl in me comes out and you can find me feeding my chickens or out on a boat on a big lake or ocean.
For those familiar with the John C. Maxwell DISC method, I the "Reformer IDS" personality.
It amazes me how easily the skills of a lifetime homemaker and community volunteer have transitioned over to being an Executive Assistant and wouldn't change a thing about the experiences that have brought me to this point. With a big heart for helping people, I enjoy volunteering to help our Veterans, put shoes on the feet of our students (you'd be surprised how many kids go to school without shoes), and try to stay involved in local politics to make sure our schools and community needs are taken care of.
Being the Executive Assistant to our President/Owner means I do everything from bookkeeping, insurance and payroll to event management and sometimes even travel agent! I make sure our employees have what they need to be successful with our clients.
